Department Profile
The Public Works Department is comprised of the following Divisions:
Engineering - Roadway design, construction and improvement. Subdivision and commercial site plan review. Design management. Geographic Information System - GIS. Right of way working permits.
Survey- Record of surveys, parcel plat reviews, right of way studies, construction staking and topographic surveys, provide horizontal and vertical control for the County, and manage contracted aerial topographic surveys.
Flood Control - Flood determinations, flood mitigation, flood permits.
Parks - Maintenance of buildings and grounds. Park law enforcement.
Landfill - Cerbat Landfill & Mohave Valley Landfill. Household Hazardous Waste Information.
