In September, 2007 the Mohave County Department of Procurement received the 12th Annual “Achievement of Excellence in Procurement” Award (pictured right). This award was designed to recognize organizational excellence in public procurement. The annual award is earned by those organizations that demonstrate excellence by obtaining a high score on a rating of benchmark criteria. The program is designed to measure innovation, professionalism, e-procurement, productivity, and leadership. Mohave County has received this award each of the past three years.

The Mohave County Department of Procurement is responsible for the procurement of goods and services for all County departments and divisions in accordance with the Mohave County Procurement Code, Arizona Revised Statutes and Federal law.

The Mohave County Department of Procurement is devoted to the principles of integrity, competition and fairness.
